How to Effectively Marketing Any Product

Effective internet marketing is simple, cost little to nothing, and generally overlooked by most webmasters. Why? Because they think it's too easy to be real. But that is their first mistake. High sales conversion rates are easier than you think when done effectively.

Many folks don't realize that we are not just template designers. We each develop and maintain a number of successful niche (and affiliate) websites which promote the products and services of other companies. These niche markets are not related to the template industry at all but focus on products and services of interest to the main stream ... non- techy people (the average consumer).

We capitalize on other forms of revenue too, like Google Adsense, Yahoo Publisher, Chitika, Kontera, etc. and soon will embark on MSN's new contextual ad program.

Remember, if you own a website, are a web designer or have some other type of techie background, you and I are the minority when it comes to the internet as a whole. Most people searching the web are average consumers, and they don't own websites. I know that's sometimes hard to wrap our brain around, but that is one fact we often forget.

We are also testing junkies. We will test anything and everything dozens of times to determine what aspect brings us the best conversion rates on our websites. In 99.9% of our target markets one test result is perfectly clear. Do you want to know what it is?

It's such a silly little, no-brainer thing that I know you'll roll your eyes and say, yea - sure. But the fact is that one little thing that brings us big conversion rates is keeping the website's structure, navigation and graphics simple. Yes, you guessed it, "basic". The average consumer doesn't care how sweet your graphics look or how clever your flash intro might be. They aren't impressed with your designer's talents at all. They came to your site for their own reasons, and it is your job to give them what they want in as few steps as possible. The more "stuff" you have on your web pages, the more confusing your website will be to your visitors. If it doesn't have a purpose with high conversion test results, it should not be on your website.

If you have not yet listened to our free podcast, "How Much Graphics is Too Much Graphics", you'll want to find out what successful website owners already know. Our podcasts have been a big hit over at iTunes for months and were featured in the Top 100 Most Popular Podcasts" many, many times. We were featured on iTunes homepage as well. The popular UK .net magazine likes them so well, they have including them on their CDs that accompany their printed magazines distributed to thousands of webmasters worldwide.

When we founded BasicTemplates.com years ago we could have easily named the site something like Super-Duper-MoreHype-Templates.com. But we chose the name that fit the most effective and practical way to design a website that converts well. Hence, the birth of the name as it is today.

Recently we've heard that some marketers are selling pre-optimized and pre-tested templates. {grin} Quite honestly the folks who get bit with this hype will soon find out that to optimize or test a website, you must have content. You must know your market before you optimize and test your website. It is not unusual to see completely different results using the same design even within the same niche market theme. It is all about your target market, how well you know them and your site's content.

These hyped up so called pre-tested templates reminded us of another podcast we did last year. It involves the mindset of "backwards website development". Regardless of who tells you that a pre- tested or pre-optimized template is what you need, I think this podcast will shed some light on the marketing hype.

Again, our podcasts are free and there is no commitment to buy anything from us. We simply want to re-educate webmasters and change their mindset from "pretty" to "effective" so that they too can start making the money the really want through their website. Many folks have said that they have learned new ways to look at website development that they never knew before. The changes they have made to their process have greatly increased their conversion rates.

WHAT Network Marketing is and WHY it is the way of the future

Yes I said it.
Network Marketing is the WAY OF THE FUTURE

Did you ask "why?" Of course you did. And here is my answer:

Network marketing is one of the many strategies for increasing one’s presence on the Internet as well as developing an overall customer base. By working with an affiliate, a merchant can increase the amount of leads that they have while also rewarding the affiliate. When that affiliate suggests the merchants’ website, they are paid for that referral, while both parties win.

The rewards for the affiliate can be provided as a percentage of the sale that is made from the reference, as a price per person that registers with the business’ site, or in terms of how many customers are redirected to the business (also known as pay per click).

The reason why affiliate/network/direct-sales marketing is so popular is twofold. For one, the establishment of affiliate marketing only takes a little time to set up and even less time to maintain. A computer program can track the number of affiliate hits and then pay the affiliate directly for that work. No additional employees are needed, cutting down on the overall costs. Many smaller businesses find that becoming an affiliate not only gives them more exposure, but it also allows them to make extra money for referrals. And believe me: This "extra money" can easily become your primary income.

Click here to find out how

Affiliate marketing was once considered bothersome due to adware and other concerns, but newer programs are lessening any problems and creating a seamless transition of customer to new website. Most customers will not even realize that they have been a part of an affiliate program—nor should they.

With affiliate marketing, both the business and the affiliate win. Both receive additional customers from referrals as well as compensation for finding those customers. It’s a wonderful tool for anyone looking to both make extra side money, and primary income.

The best part of network marketing is that the income is Residual: The income is made every month for life. Most programs included in the program I am in include a lifetime compensation plan of earning $80,000 a month for the rest of your life!

You must decide at this point whether this is right for you. You have two choice
OPTION A: Don't jump on this opportunity, go back to your normal desk job, slave away at the boss who owns you, earn your measly wage, never experience travels until your grey and old.

or

OPTION B: Take advantage of this life changing opportunity now, put some hard work into it, watch the money stream in like clockwork, fill out the entire compensation plan in a matter of weeks, earn with multiple streams of income, have the ability to retire, travel, live life the way it was meant to be.

You decide. I choose option B.

How to Write Persuasively: Powerful Techniques you MUST have to Drive Traffic To Your Website

What you can do to create powerful articles

Content is the basic building block of the Internet. Without it, there would be no need to browse the web. The value of a site is based upon its content and the better the content, the better the perceived value of a website. The more valuable a website is viewed by its visitors, the more people online will consider it a resource, and refer to it and link to it.

So the key in creating a resource website is to produce content that people will think is valuable. One way to do that, is to write articles that are informative, interesting, solve a problem, or answer a question, and are well written. We will go over the basic and necessary elements that are required to write an article that will get people to respond and seek you out for additional information.

Once you have a powerful article, you can then move into the phase of promoting your article, or publishing it on your own site. This lens will only focus on creating a powerful article.

Follow along for a step by step process.
Steps to writing a powerful article
How do you create an article that people want to read? How do you entice them into wanting more? It's not as difficult as you might think.

1. Determine the topic of your article.
You will first need to decide what general subject want to write about. Will it be about cars, real estate, horses, e-commerce? Once you have a basic area, you will need to focus in on a more specific subject. There are several ways to do this and this lens will cover one specific way.

2. Research your market for the topic you have selected.
Once you determine a topic, research your target market to determine a specific topic for your article. What specific questions are people asking, or what specific problems are they experiencing that you can help with?
Perform a search online in your area of interest and see what they are talking about. You can also so a search for forums and blogs in your area of interest and see what is being discussed there.
The easiest way to create an article that people find valuable is to actually answer questions that real people are asking.

3. Find the keywords used by the people of your target market.
This step is important because it tells you how your target market is looking for answers to their questions. You will want to use these keywords in your article.

4. Brainstorm topics for your articles.
Once you have the information from the previous steps, brainstorm some specific topics you can write about. This process is vital because it will help the creative juices begin to flow. Just begin writing down a bunch of words and phrases that relate to some of the problems people are experiencing, or questions they are asking. You can find a good book about brainstorming from the list below.

5. Create a Title for the Article
Once you have a good list of topics based on the keywords, and problems/questions of your target market, create an effective article title that will get a reader's interest and entice them to read your article. Good titles include "How To" lists, "Top 10" lists, "Things to Avoid" lists, and many others.

6. Begin Writing
Now that you have the topic, title, foundation and structure of your article, you can begin writing. Start on the body of the article first. If you have a "Top 10" type of article, then write a paragraph for each of the items in the top 10. Your paragraph should explain why for that item in at least 2 to 3 sentences.

7. Write the introduction of the article.
Once you have written the entire body of the article, It will be easy to write the introduction. Remember, a basic article starts out with telling the reader what you are going to tell them, then tell them, then tell them what you just told them. After you have written the article, it should be easy to tell them what you just wrote about.

8. Write the conclusion of your article.
This should be easy because you are re-capping what you just wrote about. If you are promoting a product or service, I find that leaving a question, or giving the reader a teaser of something more is very helpful. I know it isn't proper 'etiquitte' (etiquette), but it helps in leaving the reader wanting more.

9. Proofread your article
Once you have written it, look it over for grammar, spelling, flow, and if it speaks to the level of your audience. Double check for factual accuracy. If you can, get someone else to read your article

10. Step away from the article
Don't look at your article for at least 1 day.
Step away and do something else.

11. Re-read your article and proofread again
You'll be amazed at the way your article reads to you when you look at your article again after some time off. Make the appropriate changes and then you are ready to finish it. If you still aren't happy, repeat steps 9 and 10 again.

12. It's now time to create your resource box.
The resource box is the place you want to direct the reader to a specific call to action, like signing up for your mailing list, calling you, sending them to your website, or buying a product or service. A good structure for the resource box is to state a problem and what they need to do to avoid it. If you have enough space, it is helpful to leave credentials about who you are, and why they should listen to you.

13. Let the world know about your article! You can find places to promote your article.

People strive to be heard. And why shouldn't they? In this writers opinion everyone should WANT to be heard and who knows how many minds you might sway. Thanks for reading I encourage you to use these tips in your online business. Dont forget to check out my link Right Here
